Type is unreadable, smaller than any phone book. And, for a paperback, the price is much too high. What a rip-off!
One Minute Plays now sits proudly on my bookshelf next to "Greatest Revue Sketches" and "Something Wonderful Right Away". As an in-depth guide to creating and staging an ensemble production of incredibly enjoyable theater, this volume is indispensable. OMP also includes a catalog of 200 one-minute plays that the authors have staged, and they are marvelous. (I've seen a couple Gi60 performances, and they are brilliant and unforgettable! If you get a chance to see one - GO!) Highly Recommended!
An incredibly informative volume. The short form play festival is used everywhere, but this book digs deep on the subject. If you are looking to produce (or perform in) a short play festival, this is the perfect book for you.
As a teacher and performer... this is such a great resource for me! Short plays are a great quick way to tell a story in a clear and punchy way. There is so much in this book to use!! love it!
Very informative and easy to apply their ideas from the book into a classroom. The plays are divided up into easy access headings. The brevity of the plays make them useful for classwork or auditions or a full evening of thought provoking theater.
