This is a new textbook. It presents knowledge to me and it is up to me to absorb it. What else is a textbook supposed to do?These were advertised as a buy back books for $87 and change. They both came shrink wrapped together in one box with NO tags, labels or markings on the shrink wrap. There was no ISBN number for the set - only for the individual books. When I mailed them back to the 3rd party buy back company they were rejected because the "ISBN did not match". There is no ISBN for the set you idiots. They (the 3rd party buy back company) are sending them back to me. I complained to Amazon and they were unable to reach anyone at the buyback company (there should be a lesson in that for them). Amazon was seeking an explanation as was I. Anyway, Amazon gave me a promotional credit to my account for the inconvenience. That solution is acceptable.I was able to reach an Amazon CSR immediately without being placed in a waiting queue. An acceptable solution was accomplished in 1 phone call. I really appreciate customer service like that. Good job Amazon - you will continue to get my business.
Good information to have while working on auto A/C - albeit it is a dated revision but not much has changed with the theory. Got for a great price!
I was very excited to rent this book for class. I thought it would be the two book series like the title suggested. Unfortunately I had to return it because it was only the shop manual.
It is a Text Book- better than many i have hadbetter than my class--- i learn more from the bookthan from lab-- you will understand how an ac systems workseven the homework questions are cool- and you can find the answer in the chapter-many books are not like that
The book was as advertised, a new book still in the shrink wrap. It is the 5th Edition. When the book was purchased, the site stated the book would be bought back for just over $87. I had the book for about 10 weeks and am looking to sell it back. I got on the Amazon site and tried to sell it back only I am finding out that the book I received does not match the expected ISBN number for the item I purchased. The ISBN number I have has a buy back offer of $2.75! My book is labeled as a 5th edition with a 2013 copyright date.
