My 8 year old son literally spent 2 hours reading this book today. He LOVES YouTube especially Ryan and the others in this book so he was very interested in it. However, he usually doesn’t like reading. He tells me he doesn’t like “books with words†-only pictures- and this book has tons of full color pictures and graphics on each page PLUS words so he actually wanted to read it. I struggle to get him to read 10 mins a night simple books like the Piggie and Elephant series, but this one he picked up on his own and was actually reading himself!! Without my help!!! That never happens!! Plus the content is interesting (finding out about how they all got started and what their day is like etc) and it teaches good lessons by having a section on all the chores each kid has to do so my son can see they are like normal kids too. If he complains about chores and I point out Ryan does chores for his family too it really makes an impression on him. If you have a fan of any of these YouTubers then I definitely recommend this book. It made me so proud to see my son actually interested in reading on his own!
This is a big hard cover book, great quality. My 8 year old son loves it. He watches Ryan on YouTube, so all the little extra facts in this book have him enthralled. He's been happily reading it every night for several days now! Awesome price on this, too!
From an adult perspective, the book was okay, lots of pictures and bright colors but our two kids, who love YouTube kids, were not impressed with the content in the book.
My son loves this book because he is a huge fan of Ryan's Toy Review on Youtube. I like that it encourages him to read.
Grandsons wanted it for Christmas
This was a gift for my grandson.
My child is 8 so this is one of his Christmas presents. He will love it for sure. I didn't see FGTeeV mentioned :(
